Lloyd does not define himself in terms of what he does or has done but, rather by who he is – a grateful follower of Jesus Christ!
A native of Brantford, Ontario, Lloyd was recently called to the role of Interim Lead Pastor at QBC. Formerly a career civil servant with the Ontario Government, business owner and entrepreneur, he is a graduate of the University of Guelph, the Pathways School of Ministry, and holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from McMaster Divinity College. He has also as attained advanced certification in Transitional Ministry through Outreach Canada.
Lloyd and his wife, Carol, have been married fifty years as of September 2020, and reside close to Guelph Ontario. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. Anna, Lloyd’s niece, joined their family in her early teen years, but was tragically killed at age 34 when struck head-on by an impaired driver.
Lloyd looks forward to discovering how God will continue His sixty-eight-year mission of restorative redemption in the QBC Community, the Henderson Survey, as well as the larger community of Brantford. His passion is to see joy-filled relationships fostered in such a way that the presence of God will shine through QBC, creating a safe place for seekers to find healing and peace in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
