What is the room like where you worship?
Worship takes place in:
- The Sanctuary is the main worship hall. It is set up in a conventional manner with rows of soft chairs facing the platform from which worship is led and preaching is done.
What is the music like?
Our music style is best described as “blended”. We play traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. All songs are led by our worship band.
What should I wear?
We aren’t concerned with how you dress. Dress however you wish! Some prefer suit and tie. Some prefer jeans and a t-shirt. You will see the full range here at QBC.
How long is the service?
Generally an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
Do you observe Communion/Lord’s Supper?
Yes, on the first Sunday of each month (with the occasional exception of the second Sunday of the month).
Are there child programs available?
Yes, nursery (ages birth – 3) is available from the beginning of the service. Children 4 – grade 6 join their families for the beginning of the worship service. There will be a “children’s time” where they will be invited forward for a short teaching time, after which they will be escorted to their classrooms where they can be picked up after the service. Is there parking available?
Yes, we have our own parking lot right next to the building.
How wheelchair accessible is QBC?
We are fully wheelchair accessible. We often receive worshipers in wheelchairs with no issues.
What kind of church are you?
We are associated with the Oxford-Brant Association of Baptist Churches within the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec.
